  • ARTIST

    I am a Mexican born artist and educator making culturally engaged works of art in a variety of media, including: object based/sculptural work, public art, community art, installation, video, and performance. My art work socially and politically connects with communities and allows us to come together in a collaborative process to give form and shape to aesthetic productions addressing urgent local issues. I believe art has the capacity not only to reflect the social/political environment, but also to make real changes in our communities.
